What Kind of training do the tutors at IB Super have?
Our tutors are the heart and soul of who we are. We spend a lot of effort to train our tutors well to make sure students receive the best learning experience.
Our tutors do not just have to have a good grasp of the content of the subject, they must also be trained by IB Super teaching team on subject specific pedagogical skills which is often being referred as pedagogical content knowledge. In education circles, a lot of studies have been done to show how pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) improved students’ learning. Pedagogical content knowledge (PCK) refers to the integration of a tutor’s content knowledge and pedagogical knowledge which includes students’ alternative conceptions as well as the common teaching challenges.
Does ib super offer trial classes?
We do not offer free trial classes, but students can pay for one class to try us out.
What fees do students have to pay when they enrol?
Over at IB Super, we collect the fees for 4 classes before the start of the 1st class. We do not collect any registration fees or material fees so there are no surprises about what you are paying for. ?
does IB super offer online tuition?
Yes! IB Super offers the same programs online that you would find in-centre.
With our online tutoring lessons are conducted live, this means that there are no pre-recorded classes. Students are able to ask questions in the online classes just like regular classes at our centre.
Is online tuition the only option?
We offer both online lessons as well as classes at our centre. Students can choose between the two options depending on their preference.
What happens if the student is unable to attend the class?
A minimum of 3 days’ notice is required. We will arrange for a makeup class for the student.
If a student needs to miss a class due to medical reasons, a makeup class can be arranged once the medical certificate is submitted.
What are the various payment methods available?
IB Super accepts payment via bank transfer, Paylah or Paynow.
Online Store
What is your return and exchange policy?
Books and mechandise can be returned to IB Super and must reach us within 30 days* from the date of delivery/collection. No cash refund will be made for the items, instead an exchange can be made.
How do I return my items?
Returns via SingPost POPStation (SGD3.80/ return)
Returns to centre (FREE) – Simply drop the items at our centre during our operating hours. Do give us a call before coming over.
What are the Delivery options?
Currently, we only do shipping within Singapore.
Fee: $5 Delivery time frame: 3 – 5 days
Alternatively, you can pick the items from our centre to avoid the delivery charge.
